As we do not carry inventory, prices are set by the supplier and we earn a percentage of sale from customers who purchase through our site at no additional cost to you. In addition, we generate some revenue through paid advertising.
With animal welfare and conservation at the core of our passion, we stay current with what's happening to the planet's wildlife and donate regularly to non-profits dedicated to our cause.
Though we are very serious about what we do, you'll find we also have a playful side and regularly seek out ways for you to enjoy animal related fun through online games, contests, photos and more.
Who we are:
It was during a volunteer vacation in Africa, caring for cheetahs, that made me realize I needed to make a career change. After spending much of my career in the corporate arena managing large scale technology projects for major clients, I set my sights on a business which focuses on bringing together animal loving consumers with outstanding businesses that offer excellent pet products. As a pet owner, I now spend the majority of my time creating and managing this web site hoping you stop, shop, enjoy your visit and visit often!
Meet my inspiring partners:
I rescued Lamchop when she was 10. She was deemed hard to place but I didn't care. After seeing her picture posed on Muttmatchers.com, I fell in love with this little "Poopillon" (poodle/papillon) and drove 12 hours to and from to get her out of foster care.
Ash was donated by a friend and has been with me the longest. She's the elusive, demure one, the independent one - the girly girl who lets you know what she wants and when she wants it. She enjoys giving kisses and is quite a huntress!
Smoke captured my heart when I decided to find a companion for Ash. There he was at the local SPCA at eight weeks old with his tiny face, huge eyes, giant ears and paws, meowing at me incessantly as if to say "you're here to take me home, aren't you"? He's grown into his ears and paws at a whopping 36" nose to tail!
